Stuffed Cream Cheese and Jam French Toast

Description:
Nothing beats a delicious homemade breakfast on weekend mornings. Forget IHop or Denny's, make these yummy stuffed fresh toast at home for your love ones and they'll beg you for some more.

Ingredients:
3 ounces cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup regular milk
1/4 cup condensed milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
favorite fruit spread, jam or jelly (any flavor)
8 slices of bread

Directions:
In a small bowl mix together the cream cheese and sugar; set aside.
In another medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, condensed milk, cinnamon and salt; set aside.
Heat a griddle or 12 inch skillet on medium to medium-high heat. Meanwhile, start assembling the french toast.
Take two slices of bread and spread some jam on each one. Then add a little over a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture; spread as evenly as possible.
Bring both bread slices together to make a sandwich.
Set aside and finish assembling the rest.
Add some butter to the skillet.
Dip a sandwich into the egg mixture and make sure all sides are evenly coated.
Don't let it soak to long or it will fall apart.
Place on skillet and cook for about 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown (you want to keep a close eye on it as it can easily burn).
Once cooked place on a platter to cool for about a minute.
When the french toast has slightly cooled, cut diagonally and place on a serving plate.
Top with some powder sugar and any other of your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
