After I found out that Red Lobster's awesome biscuits were brushed with shrimp scampi sauce which contains white wine, I was on the hunt for my own Cheddar Garlic Biscuits. Modified from various biscuit recipes, I am content with these fluffy, garlic and cheese-laced biscuits.

2 cups all purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup melted butter
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tsp fresh chopped parsley
2 larged minced garlic cloves

(1) Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
(2) Melt butter on low heat on stove
(3) Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together in a bowl
(4) When butter is melted, add parsley and garlic and simmer for a few minutes to marinate; then turn off
(5) Add half (1/3 cup) of the butter/parsley/garlic mix to biscuit mix
(6) Add 2/3 cup milk to biscuit mix
(7) Add cheese to flour mix
(8) Blend well
(9) Roll dough into biscuits and place on baking pan
(10) Cook 10-15 minutes
(11) Once cooked, take out of oven and brush with the other half of the butter/garlic/parsley mix on top of biscuits
